Hull #53's documented years run from Morro Bay, California to San Francisco Bay. Marie Sargent's photographs in Flicka Friends #63 (Spring 2015) show her sailing off Morro Rock and out of Morro Bay, with one frame of a whale surfacing just off the bow and others taken at the dock on Lake Tahoe; the same issue notes she was then listed for sale on eBay.
She made the next issue for a less welcome reason. Flicka Friends #64 (Fall 2015) reports that in May two men stole her from the harbour and ran her aground before reaching open water, then hiked ashore and hid; the boat came off undamaged on the next high tide and went back to the marina, and the pair were arrested and charged with grand theft. By 2020 she was lying at Alameda and sailing San Francisco Bay, photographed by Ariu Levi in Flicka Friends #69 with her teak coaming, handrails and eyebrows freshly varnished.
