In Flicka Friends

Cajun Beauty, Pacific Seacraft hull #311, was the subject of a Flicka Profile by Mike Wack in Flicka Friends #60 (Summer 2014), and she appeared on that issue's cover in the slings, ready to launch on the Gulf Coast of Florida. The profile introduces Wack as “a happy new captain”; the photographs follow her arrival from North Carolina, a new bottom and a painted transom, the paperwork of updating her registration, and a Yanmar test run in muddy water that turned up the need for a new fuel line. Other frames show her enclosed-head interior, a new sail, and the boat lying at his dock.

She reappeared in Flicka Friends #62 (Winter 2015) under “Winter Flicka Sailing,” photographed sailing on Perdido Bay in January, in fifteen knots of wind and fifty-degree weather.
