Flicka Friends #35 (Summer 2005) records a Flicka named Gamine at the 2005 Long Island Sound rendezvous; the newsletter gives no hull number, so it is the registry that identifies her as this boat. George Rodriguez's account records Steve and Monica McWherter arriving with their son Kenny, and describes the company at dinner listening to Steve recount a single-handed round trip from New York to Bermuda that he had just finished. His photographs from the same weekend show Gamine lying third in a raft of seven Flickas on Long Island Sound, between Willa and Paradox.
