Corsair's travels fill an article of their own, "The Travels of CORSAIR", in Flicka Friends #14 (Fall 1998). Jan Allen and John Wolstenholme bought Pacific Seacraft hull #199 in September 1986, spent a year outfitting her, and in October 1987 sailed out under the Golden Gate bound south, working down to Cabo San Lucas and on to Puerto Vallarta and Melaque. Crossing the Sea of Cortez the following spring a norther caught them in the shallow sea and raised square waves the boat submarined through; John sailed in his dive mask and decided to add a dodger before the next cruise. Their account runs on through a summer on the Baja coast and the midriff islands, a haul-out at Bahia de Los Angeles, and a trailer trip across the southern United States in 1991 that put her back in the water at LaBelle, Florida.

From Florida she crossed the Gulf Stream that December for the Bahamas, cruising Gun Cay, the Berrys, Nassau, the Exumas and Long, Conception and Rum Cays, and was there for the Columbus quincentennial in 1992. She came back onto her trailer that July, and in May 1996 went north instead, to Port Townsend and a season in the San Juans, the Gulf Islands, Princess Louisa Inlet and Desolation Sound. Her owners lived aboard her for twelve years in all, and sold her in the summer of 1998 to a dock neighbour at Marina del Rey. Flicka Friends #24 (Winter 2001) credits her with the class record for people aboard: twenty-four, in the Sea of Cortez. By 2020 she belonged to Ginger Clark and was lying at San Pedro, California.
